A short prayer service for use at home.
All Church of England churches are to close with immediate effect, including for private prayer, in an effort to help limit the transmission of the coronavirus COVID-19. The Bishops and Archbishops called on the Church to “continue to pray, to love, to care for the vulnerable”.
Due to the current emergency all Annual Parochial Church Meetings will now take place later in the year, the diocese has set a new deadline of 31st October 2020 for churchwardens to be selected. The notices in church porches are rescinded and will be removed as soon as possible.
In light of the Government guidance around non-essential contact, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have issued advice that public worship is suspended until further notice.
This means that all planned services in Brown Clee benefice are cancelled until further notice. We will post more information on the website as it becomes available.

Christmas Concert – “Born a King”
To be held in Ditton Priors Church at 7.00pm. A Christmas Concert – “Born a King”. Tickets £5 (includes light refreshments). Raffle. This is a charity concert with proceeds to be divided equally between The Snowdrop Cancer Ward at New Cross Hospital and St John’s Church, Ditton Priors.
7Based on the Great ‘I am’ sayings. There will be a series of short studies and meditation on these important sayings of Jesus. Held each Monday through most of Lent 7pm at the Vicarage. All are welcome.
A Lent Course will be held in the Vicarage each Tuesday from 20th February at 12 noon, to include light lunch. Dates are Tuesday’s 20th, 27th February, 6th, 13th, and 20th March. No charge but donations to a charity are welcome.
